Writer with technical background needed to research, write, edit, and post product descriptions and other product information for medical supplies website.
Responsibilities:
Research and write customer-oriented product descriptions.
Post product descriptions to website using retail content management system.
Develop specification categories for different product types.
Add literature, specifications, and other data for products.
Interface with manufacturers to gather product information.
Qualifications:
Willing to learn new product lines.
At least 2 years experience as a technical writer, retail copy writer, or similar experience.
Superlative English language skills.
Instinct for retail product placement and best practices.
Experience with web-based content management for large enterprises.
Experience developing taxonomies for large web-based enterprises.
Experience writing and editing product descriptions.
Knowledge of and experience in healthcare industry.
