Weekly Blog Post On B2B Marketing For Small IT Companies

SCOPE:

This is an easy, steady project. You'll be writing a weekly post on B2B marketing for small IT companies. These short posts should be 200 to 300 words. Your proposal should be based on 13 weekly posts (planning out 90 days at a time).

You should be highly-experienced in online writing (short paragraphs, numbered/bulleted lists, bolding for emphasis, basic SEO, compelling headline, etc.).

However, please note that if you don't know much about IT marketing, but you DO have basic familiarity with how small businesses (10-100 employees) use IT, this project may still be a good match. Our company has been publishing premium content for this niche since 2002 and literally has dozens of extensive special reports, e-course lessons, slide decks, and screencast videos that you can easily excerpt from or re-purpose into short, search-optimized blog posts. (We'll hand-pick a few select resources for you each month.)

While you will be provided with our related background materials, reference URLs, and basic style guide instructions, you'll be expected to submit your own proposed article topics for approval each month in advance.

Super simple project, with VERY strong potential for repeat engagement AND expansion (additional project opportunities may include related whitepapers, slides, screencasts, webinars, and podcasts). You must be a native English speaker and have AT LEAST 5 successfully completed writing projects on your profile, preferably marketing-related blogging.

TIMELINE:

Proposed article topics due by Friday, December 23rd.
Weekly article deadline is Wednesdays by 5pm Eastern, starting December 28th.

After the first 13 weekly posts, assuming we are happy with your posts, this project will be renewed. Also following the first 13 weekly posts, your posts can run with your byline, you can be added to the masthead as a contributor, and directly engage with any reader comments to your posts. (This is optional; some of our bloggers prefer to remain ghostwriters.)

DELIVERABLES:

To keep things simple, just write in Microsoft Word.

HOW TO MAKE THIS A GREAT PROJECT:

You should be the consummate professional with excellent communications, well-organized proactive project management, and meticulous attention to detail. Along with your bid, please include
(1) what knowledge you have about using IT in a small business environment
(2) what blogging experience you have and where you currently blog
(3) how you go about applying basic SEO to a short blog post
(4) one or two working title ideas to demonstrate that you grasp what we're looking for (optional)
