Rhody News (www.rhodynews.com) is a news website that is seeking a project manager to assist Managing Editor in day-to-day operations of the site. I am ideally seeking someone who is from the United States and has a background or interest in learning about journalism.
Sample Projects Include-
-Publishing & Editing Articles
-Finding Contributors to post on the site via craigslist and other forums as well as supervising contributors and ensuring they are on task
-Manage Website social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc)
-Working with the Managing Editor to supervise contributors and other consultants
-Writing and editing pages on website (about us, staff bios, etc)
-Creating & Editing weekly newsletter in mailchimp
-Creating Email & Wordpress Accounts for Contributors
