The successful candidate will posses a fashion flair, attention to detail and the understanding of the purchasing process and needs of a client when shopping online. A great graphic designer and marketing talent is highly regarded. If you have designed fashion websites previously please include links of your best web design work/s.
I am also in the process of re-designing the current logo therefore if you have fashion logos that you are able to demonstrate please send some samples of previous work.
The current website is in Joomla and Virtumart and I currently do the maintenance of the website content therefore once the job is finalised I need to have the ability to do the following:
• Include/create new products
• Put a design or an entire category on sale (reduce price or percentage of price)
• Create vouchers with $ value, or percentage
• Create postage fee or exclude postage fee from individual products or entire website
• Create new pages with the same look as the existing pages
• Change the logo position on the front and other pages
The website will grab the online shopper with beautiful pictures and effects that you will create. You will either re-design the current website or design a new one however if your proposal is to create a new one you will need to justify why a new is more cost effective than giving the current one a facelift and how it will be less time consuming.
