Setting up a basic CRM to track leads to sales for a Home Improvement company.
We out bound through a predictive dialer (posting info back and forth will be needed, but not to start. At first we will manually enter in leads/potentials from the predictive dialer to whom we are setting up a appointment. Your recommendation of predictive dialer is suggested.
I have looked at Vtiger and SugarCrm. Either of them are fine, if you have another opensource solution, let me know. After viewing both CRM's, and talking to staff at Vtiger, I am confident that most or even all the work will be done through the front end of the CRM. Basically, setting up everything through the admin settings section. I do not see any need to customize any pages thus I don't see any php work needed. If you think that you need to code pages, please let me know what feature is it that must be coded as opposed to using the setup.
To bid on this project you must have experience and show actual projects where you have customized vtiger/sugarcrm/ or crm you are recommending.
We have a live site in which we have added the different users/groups/roles. You can start from scratch, or customize what we already added
The flow of the leads/potentials/sales statuses in included. Also is attached the lead sheet
1. Misc Notes:
a. After reviewing VTiger, not sure whether to start with a lead, or go straight to potential.
b. Lead/potential is generated by telemarketer who enters in basic contact info.
c. Telemarketer then moves/assigns lead to Confirmer group whom enters in rest of lead sheet info.
1. Lead/Potential is able to capture all the different users names whom edit the record when it is their groups turn. (i.e. telemarketer field, confirmer field, ... will capture the person name who edits the record)
2. If unable to capture user, then user assigns self to l/p and they can only see their own l/p . they cannot change someone elses name to thiers.
ii. If confirmer succeeds lead moves/assigns to salesperson group
iii. If confirmer unsuccessful, then confirmer moves to resetter group.
d. Resetter and Rehasher (are the same people, it is just different part of the flow chart) repeat verification in Confirmation section of lead sheet and set apt with customer.
i. Maybe have 2 sub sections of additional info for resetter and rehasher. Those sections repeat the verification questions of the confirmer. Therefore, triplicate fields needed.
e. Not sure whether to assign the l/p to the next group or change the status which then dictates what's next.
2. After the beginning part of this project, there will be additional work needed (i.e. custom reports) and other misc customization
I have had a web conference with vitger going over the features etc.. I watched as he showed how to setup some of the features this project has. I have also gone into vtiger and started adding fields/roles etc.. I do not think this initial part of the project should take very long since it should be able to be done all through the front end administration fairly quickly by someone who has used vtiger before. After the initial setup, their will be more features requested, from time to time.
