Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have a working knowledge of graphics applications (Photoshop), multimedia components and other tools commonly used in website and software development. Must be familiar with both Internet and Intranet connectivity, and possess an awareness of browser compatibility issues. Familiarity with Windows server platforms and web server software, as well as appropriate security architecture and implementation essential. Must have above average written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with vendors and employees at all levels within the organization.
Essential Job Tasks:
Plan, design, analyze and implement solutions in code, use Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, MS SQL Manager/MySQL, C# ASP.NET / .NET, PHP, C++, Java, JavaScript, ColdFusion, and HTML5 as projects require. Assist in the application "roll-out" or deployment. Perform continuous testing of application during the development lifecycle. Add features as required and requested, along with full testing. Develop system or application documentation for projects. Stay current with state-of-the-art software development methodologies and technologies. Collect and report data as required for departmental statistics. Be present to perform assigned tasks at the times and dates scheduled and/or assigned by the supervisor. Most important, be a team player!
