I am looking for research and advise about how to ship t-shirts from India. All shirts are unique custom made (one-of-a-kind). They are produced in Faridabad, India, and they have to be shipped to end customers.
I would like you to report prices and lead times for two options:
1) Each shirts fits in an A3 envelope and will be shipped to the end customer directly. End customer can be in Netherlands, UK, US or China.
2) Shirts are shipped per batch of 10 shirts in a package to the Netherlands.
One shirt weights about 300 grams.
For each of these 2 options I need the 2 variants: express and economy.
I all cases the service has to include: track-and-trace and guaranteed delivery.
Also all additional costs for taxes and customs have to be included in your report.
With the report you have to include references to the website where I can verify the information or include other material (e.g. brochures).
To be able to compare prices and lead times and to select the best carrier for this case, your report has include prices and lead times for the 2 options and 2 variants for 4 carriers: TNT, 2 local carriers and another carrier of your choice (but not DHLExpress!).
So you have 2x2x4=16 prices and lead times.
Finally write you advise (maximally on A4) about what you consider the best option from your experience and why.
