We have a need for a NopCommerce specialist capable of extending the core system through a mix of theming and plugins to support the following capabilities:
A library of videos, browseable by category. These videos may be from a hosted site like YouTube, in which case embed codes will be input into a form, or they may be fully hosted, in which case they will be uploaded directly into the site for playback using JW Player (or similar.)
A library of articles with text and images. Note that these articles (as well as the videos mentioned above) will include a lead capture form (likely in the sidebar) that will include which article/video (and author) brought the lead (this will be used to credit contributors.)
A facility to accept user contributions for the above articles and videos. In the back end, admins should be able to grant users the ability to either publish directly or submit content for approval. These users will have a new item in their account management section allowing them to add content. Note that contributors will not be granted access to the core NopCommerce admin area, but similar functionality will be provided for admins in the back end to edit/approve content.
A winery locator. In the back end, allow the input of wineries (through form input or CSV upload) which will be geocoded and then be made searchable by distance from postal/ZIP code in the front end.
The ability to purchase training programs in the store and deliver that content through the site. The courses will include videos and coursework and will only be accessible to users who purchased them.
If you're interested, please review the attached specification and respond with the following information:
1) A list of three past projects that you think are relevant to this one, with explanations.
2) A rough budget of how many hours you believe it will take to complete the project (please state the number of billable hours and the estimated completion date.)
3) The "application codeword" that's cleverly hidden in the spec to prove you at least opened it.
4) Your rates, starting date availability, and number of hours you're available per week.
Applications without these items will be deleted without response. If you don't know the answer to one or more of them and need more information, additional questions are welcome - just be sure to explain that (and include the answer to item 3 regardless) in your application.
