I immediately need to get MySQL running on a PCI express SSD (R drive), but Windows 7 won't start the service when MySQL or any of its databases are stored anywhere but the default locations on C drive. I've tried installing MySQL on R drive, updating my.cnf, and deleting the initial db's. As far as I get is having the database folders on R, but when I import new tables, it processes everything on the C drive.
$100 if you can make this work without accessing the C drive and without installing Windows on the R drive.
