JQuery And Backbone.js Specialist Needed For Website Frontend

We're looking for a dedicated specialist who has experience with using Backbone.js and jQuery for creating frontend UIs and is able to work independently on completing the assigned task.

You will be working on the frontend web site UI and UI interactions with backend via AJAX. You do not need to deal with any backend code.

We are looking for long term, which means we will be asking more questions to gauge your knowledge and experience.

Please note that we require you to know the following:

1) Backbone.js
2) jQuery
3) Coffeescript
4) GIT (we use this for all our code versioning)
5) AJAX with JSON data

If you fit the profile, please reply back to us by answering the following questions:

1) How long have you been using Backbone.js, jQuery? Have you written code using Coffeescript before? From a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate your expertise in Backbone and jQuery (give us two ratings, one rating for each)?

2) Give us an example of a challenge you encountered with using Backbone and how you solved it?

3) Here's an example scenario: A website shows a list of images. For each image, you can perform actions on it, ie. rotate, delete, download. How would you create and structure the view codes to manage both the list of images and the individual actions for each image? Just give us a general layout of the views/models/collections you would create and use to manage this.

4) Do you have experience using Twitter Bootstrap for creating web pages?

Please note that if we select you, you will be tested on a test task to gauge your experience with Backbone and jQuery. We will pay for the time you spend on the test.
