I have created a new software product that I want to market to protective parents (conservative, religious, homeschoolers, etc.). I was told that a press release will reach a wide audience for a low cost. I have attempted to write a press release (please see attached) but I would like to have an expert review it and offer suggestions for improvement, or rewrite it if necessary. I would also like you to give me recommendations of where to send this press release -- the greatest reach for the lowest cost. My goal is to have newspapers carry the story and perhaps have some news people interview me for a more detailed story. After submitting the press release, I would expect to see an increase in my website hits for two weeks or so. If your skills are good, I might have other advertising tasks for you.
