Terratip.com is a map of deals from around the world. We currently have a few deal sites on there.
We are looking for a fast working and talented site scraper and XML/JSON parser who can quickly and efficiently load deals onto the map using a software called GripSell.
GripSell comes with 35 already installed top deal sites. We are looking to add many (many!!) other top deal sites from around the globe that will be translated into English using Google Translate as well as currency conversion. It is important for each recurring feed to auto enters (lat, lng, address, title, price, discount, etc) into our DB.
Because the home page is a map, it is important that all deals that are entered will add Lat and Lng using an already written GeoLocation tool using Google.
The site is 90% done, we need someone to finish the modification and joining of both terratip.com's map and the GripSell's backend software.
This project will be considered done when:
1. Both sites work seamlessly together under the lead of the map and map categories
2. Feeds and map update automatically based on cron job
3. Map links to the deal directly (Buy Now button) and to the full deal description on our site (View Deal button)
4. 50 Sites are being scraped flawlessly - Either by XML, JSON, or web scraping through the HTML
5. All feeds are being translated using Google Translate API
6. All feeds are being converted into the correct currency
Please, only bid on this project if you are serious in working hard and getting this done right away. You must also possess strong PHP, MySQL, JSON, AJAX and Web Scraping skills.
