select a building of your choice, and
propose a small intervention to one of its spaces that embodies at its heart both sunlight and skylight. The
design of this intervention is entirely up to you you may choose, for example, to add or remove one or
more openings from a space within the building, change the placement or geometry of windows, propose the
use of daylight filters for daylight control and distribution, calculate and design appropriate fixed or movable
shading devices indicating their operation, etc. You have complete freedom to do whatever you like!
focus on one specific space of the building you have
chosen to analyse and emphasise how you propose to modify it (i.e., a before and after situation) in order
to optimise the daylighting strategy in place towards the achievement of your daylight objective.
