We are looking for a cutting edge Web 3.0 developer versed with dynamic web pages/applications. Knowledge of the following technologies is a must: HTML 5, JavaScript frameworks such as gwt, jQuery. Ajax. Familiar with various web took kits to aid development. Someone with proven experience. Understanding of database schemas and working with a data driven application.

So to clarify in the initial phase of our project we do not plan on building a full site which can compete with Grooveshark. But we do plan on building out the "core functionality" of a similar program. The core functionality means, this application will have a database of assets (songs with metadata) the application will be able to search for songs, create and add songs to a playlist. There are many more features but I will only share this with the selected developer.
I have drawn out wireframes and a detailed requirement document which will clarify the specifications.
The main thing to keep in mind before you apply is that this website cannot just be built off of Drupal or Wordpress or some plain free template available online. This will be mostly custom coded, we will take advantage of any open source libraries & API available, but the core will need to be custom. We want to ensure that we select someone who is capable of using the latest web platforms and has a sense for usability. Its almost 2012 and our website will need to look like it was built in 2012. We are looking for serious developers only.
