We are looking for a freelancer to write blogs for our industry specific blog. The blog is part of our SEO effort and needs to have original content written to be search engine friendly and appealing to an audience primarily 30+. Ability to write and post via Wordpress is desirable, but most important is good copywriting, blogging for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) skills.
This is an ongoing project and we need 4 - 5 blogs written per week utilizing original content that is creative:
2 Blogs per week about our company and sharing information with our readers about us (picture stories about successful loads/unloads/moves)
1 Blog per week about an industry specific subject of interest such as Moving on a Budget, or the Purpose of using Furniture Pads, etc.
1 or 2 Blogs per week about socially appealing content - broad enough to reach an audience greater than ours. Intended to stretch the brand and create top of mind awareness of who we are
We utilize our blog for contests, promotions, a monthly newsletter and as previously stated, part of our overall SEO Strategy.
If we identify the right person we would also let them handle our social media via www.hootsuite.com. This dashboard allows you to schedule Tweets to be posted on Twitter, Posts to be added to Facebook and many other social interactions by scheduling them to fall in line with different events. This tool helps to minimize the time it takes to communicate with our consumers.
We are accepting bids for this work presently. We anticipate all of this to take less than 30 hours of work per month and have a budget of between $12 - $15/hr. (depending on ability and education) to dedicate to this.
