I am looking for a basic site build, from a template or wordpress etc to meet the needs below and allow me to make basic design changes once complete.

Initial Thoughts on an Society Website
For the time being it would only need to be a simple website simply to supply information about the Society. I would supply all information to the website readily typed up as supplied or approved by the Committee.
➢ I see it simply as firstly, an attractive "Front" page with a serious Irish theme, with The Society logo and a welcome message plus our aims and objectives. With a side menu linking to all the other pages.
➢ A "Committee Membership" page on the committee members with a photo of each and a short biography of each. (no private or personal information)
➢ A "Committee Reports" page containing approved minutes of the Society's meetings, Committee meetings and sub-committees, etc. (that I could update)
➢ A "Latest News from Your Committee" page as a means for the Committee to update members on anything. Also updates on progress relating to anything the Committee is organising, etc. (that I could update)
➢ A "Statute" page containing the standing orders or rules of the society - which would be quite long and probably just used for reference.
➢ A "Social Events" page containing information on future social events, and reports and photos from past events. (that I could update)
➢ A "News" page for news relating; to the Society, to Members or to Ireland, where I could also post the newsletter that I do in "Word" for members, as well as you send it out to them. (that I could update)
➢ A "Recruitment" page with information on how to join the Society and two printable/downloadable forms to send by post to the Society address to actually join.
➢ I would also like to consider a Blog where members can leave comments, views and information, perhaps moderated by me. (Somebody has to moderate it in order to prevent unwanted or undesirable comments)
Any other suggestions?
I see the website as serving a very useful portal for members to stay abreast of events and news of the Emerald Society whilst they travel anywhere in the world.
