We are looking for an expert Chinese proofreader to check the quality of our English to Chinese translations and edit what is needed. All our translations are 'hand-made' by language professionals, and we want someone to correct human mistakes as typos, syntax slips or a couple of mistranslations. This is not a google translation fixing work. We look for high quality and we understand how to get it.
Please, only apply if you are a professional language worker and have technical knowledge of Chinese grammar. We'll only consider applications that provide relevant information about this. Having earned a literary price in middle school is not enough. Please, be explicit regarding education and previous work related to this position.
Once hired, you will be given a source text and a translation to compare, and you'll have to proofread it with a focus on grammar and spelling, but assuring that the style is readable.
We are looking for someone professional and trustable to work with us on demand. We have a specific project to work on right now. If we are satisfied with the results, we'll be happy to stablish an on going work relationship.
